Over the last years, in parallell to working with CALISS, I have developed a resort line named PRTECT. The idea came from working with an italian high-tech fabric that combines elegant style with activewear function.
I experienced a gap in the market for fashion forward resort wear that combined cooling effect and comfort with quick dry function and sun protection. You know when you want to pull a dress over a humid bikini for lunch and you get big watermarks on it? With our super quick dry garments, this problem can be avoided.
PRTECT's garments have been designed to go from morning breakfast, poolside lunching to evening cocktails. With the quick dry function any sweat directly absorbs into the fabric and you feel comfortable and good looking even in a very hot and humid climate.
We have received so much positive feedback from our customers and wearers and this spring we will target the south east US wholesale market. We are also working with a luxury travel agency that will act as a door opener towards the resort segement.
